DMAP Grant Advisory

Support for Ontario digital modernization funding

Eligible Ontario businesses may be able to access support through the Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan grant. MNM helps clients understand eligibility, prepare the required plan, and organize the submission process.

  • Our goal: make the process easier to navigate so you can stay focused on running the business while the plan is developed with the required structure and evidence.
  • Our role: MNM works with eligible businesses to assess readiness, document modernization priorities, and prepare a practical Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan for grant review.
  • Our approach: we keep strategy first, avoiding technology-for-technology's-sake and focusing on digital investments that improve maturity, operations, and results.
  • Ongoing value: the plan can become more than a funding document; it can serve as a useful roadmap for implementation, prioritization, and future decision-making.

The Process

From eligibility to reimbursement

Eligibility & Application

We help confirm whether the business appears to meet program criteria and support the early application steps.

Assessment & Plan

We review the current state, identify modernization opportunities, and develop the Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan.

Submission & Review

We review the plan with you and help assemble the final report and supporting material for submission.

Reimbursement

After review and approval of eligible costs, the program may reimburse a portion of the project cost according to its rules.

Funding

How the grant support works

Up to $15,000 eligible

Small and medium-sized businesses may receive reimbursement for up to 50 percent of eligible digital adoption plan costs, up to a maximum of $15,000.

Applicant contribution

The business is expected to contribute at least 50 percent of total eligible project costs.

Implementation funding pathway

The completed plan may support eligibility for additional implementation funding through the Technology Demonstration Program, subject to program approval.

Eligibility

Who may qualify

Your business must generally

  • Be a privately owned, for-profit business incorporated federally or provincially with a valid Business Number.
  • Have a permanent establishment in Ontario.
  • Have between 1 and 499 full-time equivalent employees.

Some businesses are ineligible

  • Consumer-facing retail or e-commerce operations.
  • Corporate chains, franchises, registered charities, and not-for-profits.
  • Multi-level marketing representatives and real estate brokerages.
